Reporting to the working delegation, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said: After the Congress, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has proactively and flexibly implemented work tasks, achieving many important results in all aspects of operation.
The trade union organizational structure continues to be arranged and consolidated in the direction of streamlining, operating effectively and efficiently. The content and methods of operation have many innovations, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center.
The work of caring for union members and workers is being implemented more and more practically and effectively with many social security programs, supporting a large number of union members. Propaganda and education work has been strongly innovated, applying digital technology, creating positive changes in workers' awareness and cultural life.
The work of developing union members and building grassroots trade unions achieved many outstanding results; emulation movements took place enthusiastically, and many initiatives brought high economic value. Inspection and supervision activities were strengthened, improving discipline and efficiency of Trade Union activities. The role and prestige of the Trade Union organization were recognized by society, the political system and the business community.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan said: On July 15 and 16, he and the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families; surveyed the inter-communal trade union model in Nam Phuoc and trade union facilities in Da Nang city.
At the working session, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor wanted to hear the leaders of trade unions at all levels in Da Nang city talk about the difficulties and obstacles in the Trade Union from the first Congress of the City Trade Union to now to jointly find solutions to remove, propose, and suggest to higher levels issues beyond their authority.
Along with that, the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour highly appreciated the efforts of the Da Nang Trade Union organization in the past time. In the early days of merging the two localities, the Da Nang Trade Union promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity in operations, preventing operational breakdowns, ensuring the role of representing and caring for union members and workers. The Da Nang Trade Union is dynamic, creative, and dare to think and dare to do.
In particular, there are 2 contents that only Da Nang can do and do well. Firstly, the Trade Union and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city have very clear assignment and decentralization. Secondly, the model of inter-communal and ward-level Trade Unions, only Da Nang can do and do well nationwide. This is a very creative way of doing things by Da Nang.
