The program's budget is about 120 million VND, mobilized from provincial and ward sources and the companionship of businesses.
Attending the program were representatives of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Hong Gai ward, Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions, representatives of businesses accompanying more than 100 union members and workers of grassroots trade unions in the area.
At the program, the Hong Gai Ward Trade Union organized the presentation of 120 Tet gifts to 120 workers and laborers; including 50 gifts supported by the Provincial Labor Federation, 10 gifts awarded by Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, along with gifts from local sources, the Ward Trade Union and accompanying units.
Ha Long Beer and Beverage Joint Stock Company awarded 30 more gifts to company employees.
In addition to gift-giving activities, the program also organizes lucky draws with many practical gifts such as rice cookers, fans, air conditioners, TVs... contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the days leading up to Tet.
Through the program, the Hong Gai Ward Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a support for workers, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual affection, so that each union member and worker can celebrate a warm and meaningful Tet.
Hong Gai Ward Trade Union is one of the first ward and commune-level trade union units in the area to organize the "Tet reunion" program for workers and laborers.
According to the plan, it is expected that the ward trade union levels will continue to coordinate to visit, encourage and give gifts to over 3,000 workers and laborers in the area.
