On October 24, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union, Gia Lai Province held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress was attended by 150 official delegates, representing 6,676 union members at 99 grassroots unions under the management of the Pleiku Ward Union.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Provisional Vice President of the Ward Trade Union - was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Pleiku Ward Trade Union, term I.
The Congress discussed and resolved key contents such as: every year, the Ward Union strives to support 90% or more of union members and workers to be propagandized, disseminated, studied, thoroughly grasped the Party's guidelines and resolutions and the State's policies and laws.

Strive to achieve at least 85% of grassroots trade unions of enterprises and non-state units are guided and supported to participate with employers in developing, promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations.
100% of cases of union members who need to resolve labor disputes in court are considered by the Ward Union, and the Provincial Union is requested to participate in representing or supporting them according to regulations.
Target by the end of the term: Ward Trade Union strives to establish a grassroots trade union for 95% of units and enterprises with 15 or more employees according to regulations.
At least 60% of collective labor agreements signed or participated in by trade unions are classified as having quality of type B or higher.
