According to the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, in 2025, the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) and trade union activities in Quang Ninh province continued to achieve many positive results, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, caring for life and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In the context that a part of businesses are still facing difficulties, especially in the non-state sector, the production and business situation in the province is generally stable; employment and income of workers are basically guaranteed. The average salary at private enterprises reaches 7.2 million VND/person/month, FDI enterprises reach 9.1 million VND/person/month. During the year, there were no collective labor disputes or strikes in the province.
Activities to care for union members and workers are of particular concern to trade union levels, especially during the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025. The whole province visited and presented gifts to 68,475 turns of workers and employees with a total budget of over 53.6 billion VND. The Provincial Labor Federation alone presented 13,000 Tet gifts with a total value of over 9 billion VND; organized the "Trade Union Tet Market - Tet Reunion" Program, supporting thousands of workers in difficult circumstances.
Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation issued a decision to give gifts to 362 workers in particularly difficult circumstances in labor and production during Workers' Month 2025. Trade unions directly above the grassroots level have mobilized socialization to provide financial support for building "Trade Union Shelter" houses for 11 families of workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances with an amount of 720 million VND. The Fund for capital support for poor workers of the Provincial Labor Federation has disbursed loans to 339 workers with a total amount of 8.59 billion VND.
In 2025, trade union levels actively participated in contributing opinions on 10 draft laws, 147 draft legal documents directly related to union members and workers; organized many propaganda and legal dissemination activities and mobile legal advice. Workplace dialogue was promoted with 210 dialogue programs, attracting more than 8,500 turns of workers and employees to participate.
The emulation movement for good labor and creative labor continues to spread widely. CNVCLD throughout the province has over 3,000 recognized initiatives and solutions, bringing profit value of over 45 billion VND; 140 emulation projects and products achieved profit value of over 8 billion VND. In 2025, the whole province established 67 new grassroots trade unions with 10,627 union members, raising the total number of union members to 112,682 people.
Stepping into 2026 - a year of particular importance for the organization of the 14th National Party Congress and the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels - Quang Ninh Trade Union at all levels identified the action theme as "Promoting innovation; concretizing and bringing the Resolutions of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front, and Trade Union into life".
The focus is on continuing to perform well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; promoting care for welfare, employment, and income, especially during the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year; strengthening collective dialogue and negotiation; developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; innovating propaganda and emulation work and improving the operational efficiency of trade union organizations in the new situation.
