Maintain union member trust
Receiving support gifts from the Trade Union in the first days after the merger of provinces, Mr. Le Van Binh - a member of the Trade Union of Viet Trung Quang Binh Joint Stock Company was moved to say that the timely attention of the Trade Union organization was a great source of encouragement for workers.
"We are going through a period of many changes in organization and administrative units, but our rights are still maintained. I thank the Provincial Federation of Labor and the company's trade union for always accompanying the union members," Mr. Binh shared.
According to Chairman of the Trade Union of Viet Trung Binh Quang Joint Stock Company Nguyen Son Phong, since the decision to merge the two provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Binh was made, the company's trade union executive committee has organized a consultation with union members and workers on their thoughts and aspirations.
Workers hope that the trade union will continue to act as a bridge between businesses and the collective, promptly supporting when arising administrative procedures, wages, and insurance regimes. "We have compiled opinions to send to the Provincial Federation of Labor, and at the same time coordinated with business owners to immediately resolve issues of concern to union members," said Mr. Phong.
Sharing about trade union work in the new period, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen The Lap said that after the merger, the new Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor under the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Tri province will maintain 2 professional departments with more than 40 cadres, damining a large workload when the number of new workers in the whole province will reach more than 43,000 people, operating at hundreds of grassroots unions.
This is a very important moment, requiring the Trade Union organization to innovate its methods of operation, taking the grassroots as the center and union members as the subject. Each union cadre needs to clearly define its pioneering role, not only maintaining a stable organizational rhythm but also arousing the spirit of solidarity and trust of workers, Mr. Nguyen The Lap emphasized.
Comprehensive care for rights
To realize that commitment, the Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a detailed plan to ensure that all rights of union members are not interrupted during the transition period. Workers' recommendations and proposals are received and resolved promptly, without delay or omission. At the same time, the provincial trade union also closely coordinates with specialized agencies and enterprises to review policies and regimes, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
In addition to ensuring policies, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor also focuses on propaganda and political and ideological education for union members.
In July, the peak month of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize a series of meaningful activities, such as promoting the glorious tradition of the Trade Union organization; meeting and honoring outstanding trade union officials; giving gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances...
At the same time, trade unions at all levels will focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions in enterprises without trade unions, improving the quality of shift meals, and improving working conditions for workers. The grasp of labor relations in each unit is carried out regularly to promptly detect and resolve disputes, collective work stoppages, and ensure rights and stability.
Despite many difficulties at the beginning, with the careful preparation and high sense of responsibility of the staff, the Quang Tri Provincial Trade Union is showing its determination not to let any union members or workers be negatively affected in the process of restructuring the apparatus.
