On September 15, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, trade unions at all levels in Quang Tri province have organized many practical and meaningful activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.
This series of activities focuses on visiting, encouraging the spirit and providing material support to union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual love among workers, civil servants and laborers in the whole province.
Accordingly, the Provincial Federation of Labor has organized working groups to directly visit and encourage the workers and laborers currently working at key projects. This is a workforce that is working hard day and night in hot weather conditions, large workload, and high pressure.
Along with that, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 140 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND), with a total cost of more than 70 million VND to union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
Although the gifts are not large, they have timely encouragement, clearly demonstrating the role of the Trade Union in accompanying and standing side by side with workers.
The activities on this occasion not only contribute to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among union members and workers but also demonstrate the close concern of the Trade Union organization in the journey to accompany workers for the goal of sustainable development.
