In the afternoon of August 19, a working delegation of the Savannakhet Provincial Trade Union Union, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) visited and exchanged trade union activities at Ha Quang Garment Enterprise, under May 10 Corporation.
The delegation directly visited production areas, learned about the operation of garment lines and labor management at the enterprise.
Mr. Vo Xuan Trung - Director of Ha Quang Garment Enterprise said that the unit specializes in producing export garments, the main product is shirts, with the main markets including the US, Europe, Korea and Japan.
Through 3 investment phases from 2003 to 2020, the enterprise gradually expanded factories, warehouses, production lines and production capacity.
Currently, the enterprise has 15 garment lines, including 3 hanging lines, along with cutting, ironing, packaging, inspection and service departments. The total number of employees currently is more than 1,000 people, with an average production capacity of about 12,500 products/day.
In the first 7 months of 2026, the enterprise's revenue reached more than 3.95 million USD, profit of 5.615 billion VND, and average income of employees reached 9.8 million VND/person/month.
According to Mr. Vo Xuan Trung, the unit has advantages in infrastructure, machinery, order sources and labor force. However, the enterprise still faces limitations in transportation costs, labor fluctuations, indirect labor ratio and labor productivity. In the coming time, the unit will continue to promote digitization, training, recruitment and productivity improvement.
Mr. Khamkeing Sutthideth - Chairman of the Savannakhet Provincial Trade Union Federation said that through the visit, the delegation directly witnessed the production lines at Ha Quang Garment Enterprise.
Savannakhet is particularly interested in the management experience of more than 1,000 workers and how to gather more than 900 workers to participate in the Trade Union organization.
Talking to the delegation, Mr. Vo Xuan Trung said that newly recruited workers are all trained in skills, labor awareness and professional ethics. Labor contracts clearly stipulate the responsibilities of employees and employers according to legal regulations.
The enterprise implements management according to 3 levels including groups, workshops and enterprises. For union member development, the Trade Union organization propagates and mobilizes workers to participate right from the time of signing labor contracts. Cultural and spiritual activities for workers are also organized regularly.
In the afternoon of the same day, the working delegation of the Savannakhet Provincial Trade Union Union Union came to pay a courtesy visit to the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.
