With the motto of innovation, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Trade Union organizes and directs trade union levels to organize many activities such as awarding prizes to individuals who achieve the title "Good Laborer", the program "Thank you to workers"... What is special is that the Ward Trade Union also organizes activities for children of union members and workers. For example, the program of visiting and experiencing at the Space Museum for children of officials and workers with excellent academic achievements in the 2025 - 2026 school year.
The children's learning efforts are rewarded with interesting discoveries and experiences. These are models simulating the Solar System, planets, rockets and space stations with modern and vivid technology; historical stories of space conquest, cosmonauts and world-famous scientists; scientific and technological achievements of Vietnam's space, arousing national pride and love for homeland and country. Children are also given simple scientific experiments, helping to arouse curiosity, creative thinking and passion for exploring the natural world...
Previously, the Ward Trade Union coordinated with Huy Van Pagoda to organize a completely free summer activity class for children of union members and workers on Saturdays and Sundays every week (from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM). The class focuses on training morality, etiquette, filial piety, life skills and traditional cultural education, helping children stay away from electronic devices and social evils during the summer. The program has attracted over 50 children to participate, creating a useful and meaningful playground and receiving positive feedback from parents.
With the motto "Safe children - Parents are assured to work", the Ward Trade Union has implemented many practical and meaningful activities, receiving positive responses from a large number of union members, workers and children.

Practical activities that meet the needs of union members and workers are one of the bases to attract workers to join the Trade Union organization.
Implementing the direction of the Hanoi City Labor Federation for two peak months (May and July) on union member admission and establishment of grassroots trade unions, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward has achieved extremely impressive results.
In Workers' Month 2026, the unit established 6 grassroots trade unions, exceeding 500% of the target; admitted 250 union members, exceeding 227% of the target. Continuing that success, July 2026 - the peak month to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Ward Trade Union continued to establish 6 grassroots trade unions, admitted 221 union members, reaching 600% of the target of establishing grassroots trade unions and 147% of the target of admitting union members...
