Focus on taking care of union members and workers
Mr. Vo Manh Son - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - said that from now until the end of 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct trade unions at all levels to urgently implement term targets, focusing on innovative solutions in the spirit of Resolution 02 of the Politburo and Action Program No. 02 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Along with that, promote the development of union members, establish new grassroots unions and trade unions. The discovery and training of outstanding union members to introduce to the Party for admission continues to be enhanced.
In response to the requirements of digital transformation and modernization of trade union activities, Thanh Hoa Trade Union resolutely implemented the plan to implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. The editing, digitization of documents and investment in digital infrastructure are considered a breakthrough to improve operational efficiency.
Regarding propaganda and education, trade unions at all levels organize the wid dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State to union members and workers, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Trade unions at all levels also strengthen their grasp of ideas, promptly orient and resolve concerns and recommendations from the grassroots.
In addition, social security programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Quality of shift meals" ... continue to be widely implemented. The provincial trade union focuses on mobilizing social resources, calling on business owners to take care of union members in difficulty, enhancing welfare programs to bring practical benefits, creating a clear difference between union members and those outside the organization.
Innovating activities, creating effective emulation momentum
According to the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, emulation movements such as "Good workers - Creative workers", "Good at public affairs, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety", "Emulation to serve employees - agricultural cooperatives" ... continue to spread, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks and socio-economic development in the locality. In particular, the movement " pioneering workers to realize the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous homeland of Thanh Hoa" was implemented methodically and practically, associated with specific criteria suitable for each industry and each facility.
Women's work is also focused on strengthening the activities of mass women's committees in non-state enterprises; promoting the movement "Good at public work, good at housework", "Building a 5-No, 3-Clean family", improving the capacity of female cadres and promoting gender equality.
To protect the rights of workers, Thanh Hoa Trade Union will also coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen inspection and supervision of policies on wages, social insurance, health insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, etc. Grassroots trade unions are encouraged to organize periodic dialogues and negotiations on wages and working conditions, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations. Financial and inspection work has been tightened with the requirement of collection and expenditure in accordance with regulations, strengthening internal supervision and professional training for accounting staff.
