On August 9, the Trade Union of Nghia Thanh Commune (HCMC) said that it and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune organized a visit to encourage and give gifts to female workers in difficult circumstances; awarded Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship in 2025 to children of workers and laborers who have overcome difficulties to study well in Nghia Thanh and Xuan Son communes.
From the allocation of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Area Management Working Group No. 6, the Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union presented a total of 12 gifts (including gifts and cash) to support female workers in difficult circumstances; 14 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to students at 5 enterprises.
According to the Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union, the activity of visiting to encourage and give gifts to support those in difficult circumstances and Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Thereby, it clearly demonstrates the practical concern of the trade union organization for union members; the role of the trade union organization in accompanying, helping workers overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, actively work and produce for the sustainable development of businesses and localities.
