The units have also handed over grassroots trade unions that are not subject to the termination of operations to the Da Nang City Labor Federation for signing before the termination of their missions.
According to Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh, in 2025, the old Da Nang City Labor Federation and the old Quang Nam City Labor Federation set a goal of developing 51,000 new union members.
Currently, the accumulated source for grassroots trade union development in the two provinces and cities is 504 enterprises with over 20 employees, 929 enterprises with 10 - 19 employees and more than 2,000 enterprises with less than 10 employees participating in social insurance and the source for union member development is about 208,000 employees.
In particular, the informal labor sector still has a lot of room to develop union members in trade unions, only counting the old Da Nang area, there are currently about 300,000 workers.
