The City Labor Federation announced the decisions to establish 24 ward and commune unions in the new city, after merging Da Nang city and Quang Nam province.
24 newly established commune unions include: Lien Chieu, Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tra, An Khe, Hai Chau, An Hai, Hoa Xuan, Thanh Khe, Cam Le, Hai Van, Hoa Cuong, Hoa Khanh, Ba Na (belonging to the old Da Nang).
And Nam Phuoc, Duy Xuyen, Huong Tra, Tam Ky, Ban Thach, Hoi An, Hoi An Tay, Dien Ban Dong, Dai Loc, Nui Thanh and Thang Binh (in the old Quang Nam province).
The list of 24 Trade Union Chairmen of 24 new commune and ward Trade Unions of Da Nang city includes:

Speaking on receiving the assignment, representing 24 Commune and Ward Trade Unions, Mr. Le Trong Nguyen, Chairman of the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, pledged: Strictly comply with the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the City Labor Federation and local Party committees and authorities.
Proactively coordinate closely with sectors and functional units to effectively carry out assigned tasks; focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers in new conditions.
Continuously innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities in a practical and effective manner, associated with the political tasks of each locality and promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization and actively contributing to the development of the two-level government.
