
As of June 30, 2025, the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union (TCT Trade Union) manages 21,215 union members/21,221 employees. 100% of enterprises under the Vietnam Airlines Corporation.
In the first 6 months of 2025, TCT Trade Union has coordinated with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and provincial and municipal Labor Confederations to successfully organize and implement the "Union Flight - Spring 2025" Program to bring 450 workers (workers) with difficult circumstances/excellent achievements back to their hometowns for Tet, of which TCT gave 50 free air tickets to workers with a total value of 188 million VND.

Trade unions at all levels have coordinated with the government to spend VND40.236 billion to take care of union members and employees during the Lunar New Year 2025, for 35,902 employees. Of which, TCT Trade Union will support 1,205 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of VND 1,205 billion from the TCT Charity Fund; coordinate with the government to visit and give gifts to 101 union members and workers who are war invalids, war invalids, and relatives of martyrs working at agencies and units with a total amount of VND 101,000,000. Grassroots trade unions (CDTCS) and grassroots trade unions (CDCS) organize activities to care for 34,596 union members and employees with an amount of 38.93 billion VND (from the operating budget of CDTCS and CDCS is 36.827 billion VND and social mobilization sources, support from the government is 2.103 billion VND);
Arrange vehicles to pick up and drop off workers to return home for Tet; organize Tet celebrations for workers at work; provide meals for workers participating in serving during peak days of Tet with 32,789 meals and organize spring activities for union members and workers...
TCT Trade Union has also coordinated to report to the General Director for approval of the TCT Charity Fund to organize gratitude, visit and encourage veteran cadres, families with meritorious services to the revolution, policy families, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty with a total amount of 347 million VND.
Responding to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025, the TCT Trade Union has directed Trade Unions at all levels to organize and provide funding support for drinking water purchase for workers working directly at airports, warehouses, and wharves during the hot peak season in 2025 with an amount of more than 3.64 billion VND to 10,995 people. In which, TCT Trade Union awarded support funds of 600 million VND; Organized an art program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of TCT's establishment; Art to celebrate the 6th TCT Party Congress, term 2025-2030; organized a Sports Festival in 2025. Advising the General Director on difficult support for 52 cases of workers and their relatives in especially difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses with a total amount of 684 million VND; supporting the construction of 5 houses for people in Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces with a total amount of 360 million VND...
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dao Manh Kien said that in the coming time, the TCT Trade Union and its affiliated trade unions at all levels will continue to closely coordinate with the TCT's expertise in developing human resource and salary policies; accompany the TCT in building a corporate cultural environment at agencies and units; continue to monitor and count the labor situation, employment, and income of employees to have appropriate support plans and policies... In addition, focus on completing the target of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in 2025 assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Timely improve and supplement members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union at all levels when there are personnel changes.
