Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the program is organized with a spirit of focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center. Through the program, units listen to aspirations and problems arising in the operation of grassroots trade unions, especially newly established units after implementing organizational structure arrangements.
At the dialogue, grassroots trade union officials had many questions and recommendations on consolidating the trade union organization model after arranging administrative units and improving the efficiency of taking care of union members' lives.
In addition, grassroots trade union officials also exchanged and proposed health check-up programs for workers in localities.
Proposals under authority have been directly exchanged and answered by leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and local leaders. At the same time, it is noted that proposals need to be further researched and completed in the coming time.
Also on July 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with the Lai Thieu Ward Trade Union to organize a program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time launched the model "Grassroots Trade Union without drugs - Members without drugs" and deployed many activities towards union members and workers.
