On September 22, Tran Yen Commune Trade Union said that during the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival, grassroots trade unions in the area have coordinated with businesses and units to implement many activities to care for union members, workers and children, with a total budget of more than 200 million VND.
The programs are organized flexibly according to the conditions of each unit, focusing on giving gifts, scholarships, organizing entertainment and visiting union members in difficult circumstances.
At Yamazaki Vietnam Co., Ltd., union members' children participated in a sightseeing and fun program at Pearl Island.
Meanwhile, the Trade Union of Dang Khoa Private Enterprise combined celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with commending excellent students, awarding 160 Mid-Autumn gifts and scholarships for education promotion, with a total value of more than 20 million VND.
Not only caring for union members' children, many grassroots trade unions also focus resources on directly supporting workers in difficult circumstances.
Notably, Vina KNF International Co., Ltd. spent more than 67 million VND to give 550 Mid-Autumn gifts to employees, worth 122,000 VND/gift.
Along with that, grassroots trade unions at Yen Bai Silkworm Joint Stock Company, Dat Phuong Trading and Production Co., Ltd., Tran Binh One-Member Limited Liability Company and units under the Health Center, General Service, Project Management Board... also organized gifts and visits to union members and families of workers.
According to the Tran Yen Commune Trade Union, the total value of gifts and Mid-Autumn care activities in 2026 in the area is estimated at more than 200 million VND.
Caring activities implemented during the Mid-Autumn Festival contribute to practically supporting the lives of union members and workers' families, while creating a more joyful atmosphere for children of workers and laborers in the area.
