The conference was attended by representatives of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Party Committees of Nghe An Provincial Party agencies, the Provincial Labor Federation and related units.
According to Decision No. 107 dated February 26, 2025 of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor on the transfer of grassroots trade unions and union members, there are 223 grassroots trade unions and 26,405 union members of the trade unions: Civil Servants, Industry and Trade, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, Health to be under the Trade Union of Provincial Party agencies, Provincial People's Committee Trade Unions and District and Urban Labor Federations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Trade Union affirmed that although it has just been established, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union will strive to actively contribute to the work of building the Party, building strong expertise; effectively carry out activities to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.
This goal has been concretized by 4 key contents: Innovation in the method of organizing annual conferences of civil servants and public employees; Directing grassroots trade unions to organize movements of civil servants, public employees, and workers to compete in implementing office culture, corporate culture, associated with building agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards; Seek and coordinate to build and sign union member welfare programs for union members who are basically beneficiaries of public service units and enterprises...
At the ceremony, the Civil Servants' Union handed over 19 grassroots unions to the Trade Unions of Nghe An Provincial Party Agencies.
The handover of 85 grassroots trade unions under the Vinh City Labor Federation, the Trade Unions of the Construction, Transport, Industry and Trade, Healthcare, Agriculture and Civil Servants' Trade Unions was handed over to the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Van Nhien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee congratulated the grassroots trade unions that have returned to the affiliated higher-level trade unions, believing that in the coming time, when returning to the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union, the team of trade union officials will continue to promote the good tradition, to operate more successfully and effectively in caring for and protecting union members and workers.
