Kien An District Labor Federation, Hai Phong receives 31 grassroots unions

On March 12, the Kien An District Labor Federation (Hai Phong) organized a reception for grassroots unions and union members.

On March 12, Kien An District Labor Federation held a conference to announce Decision 572/QD-LDLD, dated February 28, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation on transferring the status quo of grassroots unions under dissolved units to the Trade Unions of Party agencies and the Trade Unions of the City People's Committee, Labor Federations of districts, towns and Thuy Nguyen City.

Accordingly, Kien An District Labor Federation received 31 grassroots unions with 5,625 union members. Of which, there are 11 units from the Industry and Trade Trade Union, 4 units from the Education Trade Union, 5 units from the Transport Trade Union, 4 units from the Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, 2 grassroots trade unions from the Construction Trade Union and 5 units from the Health Trade Union. As of March 2, 2025, the District Labor Federation manages 175 grassroots unions with 9,467 union members.

Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and leaders of Kien An District requested the District Labor Federation to focus on guiding grassroots unions to re-engrave seals in accordance with regulations; review to promptly complete key positions if there are changes to soon become stable. Grassroots unions need to maintain good operations, pay attention to taking care of union members' lives, and focus on propaganda and admission of new union members. During the operation, units with difficulties and problems promptly reported to the District Labor Federation for direction and resolution.
