On January 20, the working delegation of Vinh Long province visited, wished Tet and grasped the situation at a number of businesses with many workers, including: Furukawa Automotive Systems Co., Ltd., Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company, Kyungshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Megasurplus Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd.
The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation and Mr. Nguyen Cong Truong - Deputy Head of the Investment and Enterprise Department - Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
At destinations, business leaders reported on the production and business situation as well as the care for workers. Despite many difficulties due to market fluctuations, units still strive to maintain orders, stabilize jobs, ensure income and fully implement regimes and policies for workers.
In particular, Tet bonuses and programs to support workers away from home are concerned and prepared early by businesses to help workers feel secure in their work and stick with them for a long time.
The delegation leader acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of overcoming difficulties of the leadership and the collective of workers. These efforts not only contribute to helping businesses stabilize production but also play an important role in economic development and ensuring social security in the locality.
Speaking at the working sessions, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation emphasized the companion role of the Trade Union organization with businesses in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests and taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. Maintaining a safe, stable and harmonious working environment.
On this occasion, the delegation directly visited and presented 80 Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, 20 gifts per business. These gifts, although not large in material terms, are of practical spiritual significance, contributing to encouraging workers to rise up and celebrate the traditional Tet in a warm and affectionate atmosphere.
