The series of community activities is organized in Vinh Long province and Can Tho City on January 17 and 18, creating a Tet space of connection, helping people participate in cultural activities and share the joy of the beginning of the year.
At Vinh Long Square and Vinh Chau ward (Can Tho), the Organizing Committee proceeded to give Tet gifts to 900 households in difficult circumstances and border guard officers and soldiers on duty protecting the area.
Each gift includes necessities, Tet cakes, Tet jam and lucky money envelopes, showing concern and spiritual encouragement, contributing to helping many families celebrate Tet in a warmer and more fulfilling atmosphere.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan Thanh - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province - said that the Tet gift-giving activity has profound humanistic meaning, showing the companionship of the community with people in difficult circumstances.
Gifts are not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping people clearly feel the concern and sharing of society during Tet and spring," Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan Thanh emphasized.
In parallel with the gift-giving activity, the program also organizes a Tet experience space with many interactive areas, vividly recreating the spring atmosphere through cultural and fun activities imbued with traditional identity.
Prominent is the Tet cake wrapping contest, where people participate in preparing Tet feasts, experiencing familiar spring work, contributing to preserving the beauty of Tet culture in the Mekong Delta.
In addition, cultural performances, asking for calligraphy from calligraphers, taking Tet photos, folk games attract a large number of people to participate, creating a space for exchange and connection between generations in the community.
Ms. Patsy Lim - Deputy General Director in charge of Marketing and Business Communications of SABECO - said that through Tet gift-giving activities, businesses want to contribute to connecting the community and spreading the spirit of sharing during the New Year.
