According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from August 2 - March 3, many key activities will be implemented synchronously, associated with political tasks and taking care of the lives of union members and workers.
The Chairman and 2 members of the Standing Committee, 1 member of the Executive Committee participate in meetings with voters for candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term and campaigning for elections at points according to the plan of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Propaganda work is promoted on the Provincial Trade Union website, posting infographics and videos; focusing on the content of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term and the results of the 14th Party Congress.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation organizes an assessment and proposes a ranking level for the first quarter of 2026 for officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and at the same time submits to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for specialized commendation "Good at work - Good at home" and Culture and Sports in 2025.
During the week, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the "Men in the Kitchen" Contest among union members and workers in 2026 at Truong An Tourist Area; reporting on the summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution 6a/NQ-TLĐ on innovating and improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation organized visits and presented gifts to 790 female union members to celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising in some communes; and at the same time prepared for the 2026 Conference of cadres and civil servants.
The Standing Committee also issued official letters responding to the online contest to learn about elections, launched "Ao Dai Week 2026" and sent outlines of leaflets to promote the results of the 14th Party Congress.
