Cuc Phuong National Park Trade Union spreads the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho

Learning from Uncle Ho from specific actions

With an area of more than 22,149ha, located in 3 provinces Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Phu Tho, Cuc Phuong National Park is considered one of the "living museums" of biodiversity in Vietnam.

In the context of a large and dangerous area, adjacent to many buffer zone residential areas, the task of forest protection poses many difficulties. However, in recent years, the Grassroots Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park has coordinated with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the unit to effectively implement the movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, creating clear changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, civil servants, and workers.

Mr. Le Phuong Trieu - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park - said that in the period 2021 - 2026, the Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park has actively innovated the content and methods of propaganda; promptly disseminated the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State, regulations of the industry and the Trade Union organization to union members and workers. Propaganda is carried out flexibly through thematic meetings, weekly flag salutes, internal information systems and social networks such as Zalo, Facebook.

The noteworthy point is that studying Uncle Ho does not stop at slogans, but is associated with each professional task. Every month, the unit assigns typical cadres and party members to present papers under the flag salute ceremony at the beginning of the week on the contents of studying and following Uncle Ho. Through this, typical individuals are commended and replicated, creating motivation for cadres and union members to emulate to successfully complete their tasks" - Mr. Trieu shared.

For many consecutive years, the unit has had no union members who violated shortcomings and were disciplined from a warning form or higher; 100% of trade union members were not involved in social evils. The internal affairs of the agency maintained solidarity, democracy, and order; cadres, civil servants, and employees well complied with internal regulations and working rules, joining hands to complete the assigned political tasks.

Linking emulation movements with forest protection

One of the outstanding imprints of the Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park is linking the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho with the task of managing and protecting forests. This is a key, regular task and also a major challenge for the team of officials, forest rangers, and workers at the unit.

The Forest Protection force of the Garden has implemented the motto of sticking to the people, sticking to the forest, sticking to the area, managing and protecting the forest from the root. Many officials and union members, regardless of difficulties, regularly patrol, control, and stay in the forest to promptly detect and prevent acts of encroachment on forest resources.

Along with that, the unit promotes the application of technology in resource management and biodiversity monitoring such as SMART, GIS, GPS software. Thanks to the synchronous deployment of solutions, during the term, no forest destruction hotspots occurred throughout the Garden; violations were minimized, and natural resources were protected stably.

Not only protecting the forest, the team of trade union members doing scientific work of the Garden also actively participates in research, rescue, and conservation of many rare and precious animal and plant species.

According to Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park Le Phuong Trieu, the unit is implementing many ministerial-level tasks, international projects and conservation programs. In the field of international cooperation, Cuc Phuong is coordinating with many domestic and international organizations to implement programs to conserve primates, predators, pangolins and turtles.

These results show that the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho in the Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park has been concretized by the spirit of responsibility, dedication and serious working attitude of each official and union member. Every action, even silent in the deep forest, contributes to preserving precious natural resources for today and the future.

In addition to performing professional tasks, the Trade Union of Cuc Phuong National Park always pays attention to caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
