News from the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, Da Nang city on March 21st said: In order to practically care for the lives and protect the health of union members and workers, the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune in coordination with Saigon Tam Ky General Hospital organized a program of free health check-ups and consultations for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
Nearly 100 workers and laborers working at enterprises and production facilities with grassroots trade unions under the management of the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union participated in the program.
These are union members with limited income and few conditions to access quality medical services.
At the examination, a team of experienced doctors and nurses from Saigon Tam Ky General Hospital directly examined and provided general health advice to workers.
Not only stopping at medical examination and treatment, doctors and nurses also wholeheartedly guide workers on how to take care of their health, build a scientific lifestyle, a reasonable diet, as well as recognize early abnormal signs for timely examination and treatment.
The free health check-up program is a meaningful and deeply humane activity, contributing to raising awareness of workers and laborers about taking care of their own health.
Thereby, clearly showing the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
