News from the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 21 said: The Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union organized a conference to propagate, advise, and dialogue on social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT), and unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies for nearly 100 union members and workers from many businesses in the area.
With the motto of putting workers at the center, the conference is organized in the form of dialogue and direct exchange instead of one-way propaganda.
At the program, union members and workers raised many questions related to benefits when participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance such as conditions for enjoying insurance regimes, benefits when terminating labor contracts, procedures for participation and preservation of insurance contribution time.
On this occasion, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union also coordinated with the Nui Thanh Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to promote preferential credit programs of the Government and Da Nang city for union members and workers.
The contents of preferential credit programs such as loans for job creation, loans for social housing, and loans for family economic development were also specifically answered by representatives of specialized agencies, helping workers understand the beneficiaries, conditions and loan procedures.
Trade union creates a bridge
In order to create a lively atmosphere and improve the effectiveness of propaganda, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union integrated a knowledge exchange program in the form of quick quizzes after each topic.
Union members and workers actively participate in answering questions about policies that have just been disseminated and receive gifts from the Organizing Committee. Visual and interactive forms of propaganda have contributed to helping workers easily absorb and remember legal regulations and apply them in practice.
On this occasion, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union organized a meeting to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, reviewing the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union organization and propagating the core contents of the Resolution of the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Phuc - Chairwoman of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union said: in the context of operating under the inter-communal trade union model, innovating propaganda methods, strengthening dialogue and direct consultation are important solutions to bring policies closer to union members and workers.
Through practical activities, the Trade Union not only contributes to raising legal awareness but also creates a bridge between workers and policy-implementing agencies, helping union members promptly access regimes, social security policies and resources to support economic development, gradually improving their lives and stabilizing jobs.
