News from the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 25 said: towards the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union directs and guides grassroots enterprise trade unions to implement many practical activities to care for union members and workers, contributing to spreading the spirit of companionship and sharing of the Trade Union organization.
Implementing the guidance, the grassroots Trade Union of Chu Lai Stone Joint Stock Company coordinated with the company's board of directors to organize the program "Trade Union Meal" combined with "Heating Up Summer - Caring for union members and workers".
This is the 6th unit of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union to simultaneously implement these two meaningful activities.
Attending the program were Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Phuc, Chairwoman of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union and Mr. Nguyen Van Vien, Member of the Board of Directors, Director of Chu Lai Stone Joint Stock Company.
Through the coordination between trade unions and businesses, 30 union members and workers enjoyed a meal worth 100,000 VND/portion.
The Company's Board of Directors directly had meals with employees in a friendly and open atmosphere, creating conditions to listen to thoughts and aspirations, strengthening the connection between businesses and employees.
In addition to improving the quality of meals, the program also integrates the activity "Refreshing summer - Caring for union members and workers" to encourage morale and take care of the health of union members in hot weather conditions.
This is one of the activities widely implemented by the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, contributing to bringing care work closer to union members with practical and effective actions.
On this occasion, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union presented 1 million VND in support to a union member in difficult circumstances working at Chu Lai Stone Joint Stock Company.
Although the gift is not large, it shows the timely concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization, contributing to encouraging union members to overcome difficulties and feel secure in working and production.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Phuc, the fact that 6 grassroots trade unions of enterprises continuously responded to organizing "Trade Union Meals" associated with the program "Raising the heat of summer - Caring for union members and workers" shows the active companionship of employers in caring for workers' lives.
Through this, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a bridge between businesses and workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, and at the same time creating a spreading effect for activities towards union members and workers on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
