At the ceremony, Ms. Ho Ngoc Bich - Chairwoman of Phu My Commune Trade Union - launched Workers' Month 2026 with the theme "Gia Lai Workers - Innovation, creativity, improving labor productivity"; and at the same time responded to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health with the theme "Innovating management and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital age".
Ms. Bich suggested that grassroots Trade Unions need to focus on effectively implementing many key tasks such as promoting propaganda to union members and workers; organizing the "May Dialogue" Program, the forum "Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era".
Units need to implement the "Thank you to workers" Program; take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; promote union member development, establish grassroots trade unions; each grassroots trade union strives to organize at least one activity to respond to Workers' Month 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - Standing Vice President of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged and praised the results achieved by Phu My Commune Trade Union and affiliated grassroots trade unions in the past time.
Ms. Thuy requested the Commune Trade Union to continue to concretize programs and plans with practical activities suitable to the actual situation at the grassroots level; improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; effectively implement Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
On this occasion, the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in 2025; presented 33 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances at affiliated grassroots trade unions, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
The gifts are a practical source of encouragement, contributing to adding motivation for union members and workers to overcome difficulties, feel secure in working and production; spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection among workers and laborers.
