At Election Team No. 15 (Thien Loc commune, Hanoi City) - a place where many workers live - many voters expressed their desire that the elected delegates would pay more attention to salary policies, social housing and opportunities to improve skills for workers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - a worker at Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. (hometown Hung Yen) said that this is the third time he has participated in elections at work. Despite his busy work schedule, he still arranged time to go to the polling station early.
Sharing about the moment of holding the ballot in his hand, Mr. Hoi could not hide his pride and emotion. Hoping for breakthrough policies on social housing
From early morning, the atmosphere in residential areas with a large concentration of workers such as Hoa Khanh ward, Lien Chieu ward or Hoa Tien commune (Da Nang City) has become busier than usual.
Mr. Le Van Tho - a worker at Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., residing in "Self-managed worker group of boarding house area" No. 1 (Lien Chieu ward, Da Nang city) said: "Every time I go to vote, I feel that this is not only a responsibility but also an honor. We want to have more breakthrough policies on social housing, improve the minimum wage and ensure social insurance benefits so that workers can feel secure in sticking with the city.
Hope delegates pay attention to the retirement age of women
Mr. Nguyen Manh Phat - driver of Thu Duc Gas Joint Stock Company - said that the candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term are all worthy people. However, according to election regulations, he considered choosing the candidates he trusts the most to elect.
Mr. Phat expressed his wish that delegates after being elected will pay more attention to people's livelihood issues, especially employment, wages and policies to ensure the rights of workers.
Similarly, Ms. Le Thi Cam Hoang - a worker at Viet Tien Garment Company - after exercising her right to vote, shared: "We hope that the candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, after being elected, will pay more attention to policies to increase wages and income for workers. For female workers directly involved in production, the retirement age of 55 is appropriate, so I also hope that delegates will consider and pay attention to this issue.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, a worker working at a business in the mechanical field in Northern Ho Chi Minh City, said that the company has arranged working hours so that all workers can vote fully.
I have selected delegates with action programs to care for and take care of the lives of people and workers to elect. I hope that the elected delegates will well implement their commitments, focusing on developing more social housing and affordable housing suitable for workers' incomes.
