At the end of the election day for National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels, the whole country had nearly 76.2 million voters going to vote, reaching a rate of 99.68%.

On the morning of March 16, according to information from the Office of the National Election Council, as of 11:30 PM on March 15, 2026, the whole country had nearly 76.2 million voters going to vote in the election of National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) of the 16th term and People's Council deputies (PE deputies) at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, reaching a rate of 99.68%.

Lao Cai is the province that completed the election earliest (17:45), along with Hue City, 2/34 localities achieved a 100% voter turnout.

Localities with a voting rate of 99.99% or higher include: Ha Tinh, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Long.

All 34 provinces and cities achieved a voter turnout rate of over 99%.

The oldest voter is Ms. Hoang Thi Tong, 119 years old, Mong ethnicity in Lung Liem hamlet, Yen Tho commune, Cao Bang province. Especially Lao Cai province has 173 voters aged 100 and over (31 elderly men and 142 elderly women), the oldest voter is Ms. Giang Nu Sua, 114 years old.

By the time of reporting, the political security, order, and social safety situation nationwide continued to be maintained stably; no complicated incidents or unusual situations affecting the election work that needed to be directed and resolved arose.

This is an important political event of the country, taking place immediately after the 14th National Party Congress, a step to concretize the resolution associated with the Party's cadre work, related to the responsibilities of all levels and sectors.

At the same time, it is also a place for voters to promote the right to mastery of citizens, to choose and elect typical and worthy people, representing their will, aspirations and right to mastery in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the new term.

The election is organized in the context that the renovation process in our country after 40 years has achieved great achievements, of historical significance in all fields of social life; it is also the time when our country actively implements the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational structure of the political system, reorganizes administrative boundaries and operates the 2-level local government model to ensure streamlining, strengthening, efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency to enter a new era of national development.

Right from the early morning of March 15, Party and State leaders and voters from all over the country came to polling stations to exercise the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of citizens towards the country, to select and elect typical delegates, worthy of representing the will and aspirations of the people.
