On the morning of March 15, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang and his wife participated in voting for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Voting Area No. 4 (Residential Groups No. 10, 11, 12), Giang Vo ward.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang expressed his pleasure at the joyful and responsible atmosphere of voters in the area; and at the same time acknowledged the careful preparation of the Party Committee, local authorities and forces serving the election. He wished voters to promote the spirit of democracy, civic responsibility, participate in voting fully, and select truly typical delegates in terms of qualities, capacity and prestige to represent the will and aspirations of the people.
Emphasizing the important meaning of each ballot, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang said that this is not only a right but also a responsibility of each citizen for the development of the Capital and the country. Choosing the right people, worthy, will contribute to building an increasingly clean and strong government apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently, meeting the trust of voters and people.
On this occasion, Comrade Vu Dai Thang also requested the Party Committee, government and election team to continue to do a good job of service, ensuring that the election day takes place democratically, safely, in accordance with the law, and truly becomes a festival for the whole people.
In a solemn and joyful atmosphere during the Country Day, the Chairman of the City People's Committee and his wife, along with voters, voted to elect National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in ballot box No. 4.
Answering press interviews after exercising citizen rights in the voting area, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang said he clearly felt many new points in this election.
According to the Chairman of the City People's Committee, the election of delegates to the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam and delegates to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term has many differences when it is organized for the first time in the context of implementing the two-level local government model.
Personally, I have just exercised the right of voter and really clearly felt the difference of this election. At the polling stations, people are very interested, closely monitor and seriously and responsibly exercise their rights and obligations as citizens to select the most worthy delegates to participate in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels," said comrade Vu Dai Thang.
Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee expressed his belief that, with the attention and support of the People, this election will select typical, virtuous, and talented delegates to participate in the National Assembly of Vietnam and People's Councils at all levels, contributing to leading the country into a new stage of development.
On this occasion, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang sent a message to voters in the Capital: "Today is truly a great festival for the whole people. I hope voters, especially Hanoi voters, will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, fully exercise their rights and civic obligations, and wisely choose the most worthy delegates to represent the will and aspirations of the People".
According to Comrade Vu Dai Thang, with the consensus of the people and the delegation selected through elections, Hanoi will have more motivation to effectively implement the new guidelines and policies of the Central Government, well implement the Capital's planning and special mechanisms, thereby contributing to bringing the Capital to strong development in the new period.
