    Khanh Hoa - With the regional minimum wage applied from January 1, 2026, many workers will have increased their income.

    Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nhan has been a worker for 16 years at an export seafood processing enterprise located in Suoi Dau Industrial Park, Cam Lam Commune, Khanh Hoa Province.

    Currently, Ms. Nhan's average income is over 8 million VND/month. When hearing the Government's announcement of a Decree increasing the regional minimum wage for workers working under labor contracts from January 1, 2026, Ms. Nhan was very excited.

    According to Ms. Nhan, increasing the new regional minimum wage will increase her income by about 300,000-400,000 VND/month.

    The salary agreement for 2026 will certainly also increase because businesses use the current regional III minimum wage as a basis for calculating salaries for employees.

    "Along with increasing income, the social insurance contribution rate will also increase. Therefore, the long-term benefits will also be better and life will also be improved" - Ms. Nhan happily said.

    According to Decree 293/2025/ND-CP, from January 1, 2026, the regional minimum wage will increase by 250,000 - 350,000 VND/month compared to the current minimum wage.

    In particular, the regional minimum wage used as the basis for calculating salaries for employees will officially apply from January 1, 2026 as follows: Region I is 5,310,000 VND/month; Region II is 4,730,000 VND/month; Region III is 4,140,000 VND/month; Region IV is 3,700,000 VND/month.

    Khanh Hoa province will apply the minimum wage of regions II, III, IV for 65 wards, communes, and special zones.

    Accordingly, Region II includes 16 wards: Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Bac Cam Ranh, Cam Ranh, Cam Linh, Ba Ngoi, Ninh Hoa, Dong Ninh Hoa, Hoa Thang, Phan Rang, Dong Hai, Ninh Chu, Bao An, Do Vinh, Nam Cam Ranh, Bac Ninh Hoa, Tan Dinh, Nam Ninh Hoa, Tay Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Thuan Bac, Cong Hai.

    Region III includes 29 communes: Dai Lanh, Tu Bong, Van Thang, Van Ninh, Van Hung, Dien Khanh, Dien Lac, Dien Dien, Suoi Hiep, Dien Tho, Dien Lam, Cam Lam, Suoi Dau, Cam Hiep, Cam An, Ninh Phuoc, Phuoc Huu, Phuoc Hau, Phuoc Dinh, Ninh Hai, Xuan Hai, Vinh Hai, Ninh Son, Lam Son, Anh Dung, My Son, Thuan Nam, Ca Na, Phuoc Ha.

    Area IV includes the remaining communes, wards and special zones.
