Adjust working hours on hot days
These days, Ninh Binh is forecast to experience widespread heat and hot weather, the weather is extremely hot. However, at the construction site of the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road project, engineers and workers are still trying to "overcome the sun, overcome the rain", speeding up the project's progress. While constructing the final items on the route, using a towel to clean the sweat, worker Tran Van Thanh (from Hung Yen) shared: "In the past few days, the weather has been hot, so we have prepared cool water, air conditioners and taken turns resting when we are exhausted. To ensure work and construction to avoid hot weather, the workers also told each other to try to get up earlier. Similarly, Mr. Vu Van Thoi, an excavator driver, confided that the harsh weather, the heat was fierce, also affecting his health. Although it was hard and difficult, the brothers tried their best to quickly complete the route. All are aimed at the goal of keeping up with the progress as required by the investor.
In the face of harsh hot weather, workers working at the construction site have had their working hours adjusted.
Mr. Tran Duc Hung - Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - Coastal Road Project Management Board - said that this time the construction will be more favorable, so contractors will take advantage of every day and every hour to speed up many items. The contractor has mobilized nearly 100% of personnel and machinery to speed up the progress of the entire project. The weather these days is hot and sunny, to ensure health, workers will be allowed to work early in the morning, then take early leave to avoid the heat. In the afternoon, the weather is calmer and less sunny before going to work or working overtime in the evening, thanks to which they can cope with harsh weather.
