Workers excitedly receive New Year lucky money

The first working day of the new year at many businesses in Ninh Binh became warmer and busier when workers received red lucky money envelopes.

Although the values are different, these are all spring "luckies", carrying great spiritual significance, creating motivation for workers to feel secure in their commitment and enthusiastically start production.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu (from Ninh Binh) said that February 23rd, 2026 is her spring opening day to work. Right in the first morning of the year, a female worker working at Amara Shoe Co., Ltd. received 50,000 VND lucky money from the company.

According to Ms. Thu, this lucky money amount is equivalent to last year. Compared to the general level in the region, 50,000 VND is only at an average level, but she herself still feels very happy and excited.

The company has more than 10,000 employees, giving lucky money of 50,000 VND to each person is already a very large expense. For us, lucky money is a lucky gift at the beginning of the year, it doesn't matter how little or much it is, just having it makes you feel lucky and happy" - Ms. Thu shared.

A joyful atmosphere also spread at Gia Nhuan Thanh Vietnam Co., Ltd. This enterprise announced that employees will return to work from February 22, 2026 and give lucky money of 200,000 VND to each worker on the first day of the year.

Ms. Pham Thi Hien, a worker at the company, said that the lucky money of 200,000 VND is considered quite competitive compared to many other businesses in the region.

Going to work at the beginning of spring and receiving such a large lucky money from the company makes us feel very warm. Everyone is smiling, excited and feels more secure to contribute in 2026" - Ms. Hien said.

According to Ms. Hien, the entire production team has agreed to use this lucky money to organize a small party in the first days of the year. "Both no need to worry about expenses and create opportunities for brothers and sisters in the team to connect and share with each other more" - she said.

The joy also multiplied at Song Hong 11 Factory when many workers suddenly received lucky money of up to 500,000 VND on the first working day of the new year. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai, a garment worker at the factory, could not hide her emotion.

Today, going to work at the beginning of the year, we were directly given lucky money of 500,000 VND by the General Director. Although I heard the information before, I didn't think the amount would be so large, I was really surprised and happy" - Ms. Hoai said.

According to the female worker, Song Hong 11 is a new factory that has been in operation for more than a year of Song Hong Corporation, with high expectations and receiving much attention and favor from the corporation. The New Year lucky money is therefore even more meaningful, helping employees feel more secure in spending in the early spring days.

With 500,000 VND lucky money, I only need to add a small amount to have enough money to go to the pagoda at the beginning of the year. This amount can also be used to cover electricity and water bills or pay for food and school fees for my children who are in kindergarten" - Ms. Hoai said.

New Year lucky money envelopes, whether of great or small value, carry the concern and sharing of businesses for employees. This is a practical source of spiritual encouragement, contributing to creating a positive New Year atmosphere, so that workers are more attached and feel secure in working for a long time.
