On February 20, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) said that on February 22 (the 6th day of Tet), buses carrying about 1,000 workers from the Central and Northern provinces to return to work after the Tet holiday will start to depart so that on February 23 (the 7th day of Tet), the company will start to return to normal work.

TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company has about 34,000 workers specializing in processing sports shoes. On the first working day of the year, after the Binh Ngo Tet holiday 2026, the grassroots trade union executive committee of the company will give lucky money at the beginning of the year to encourage and motivate employees to accelerate work at the beginning of the year with a rate of 200,000 VND/person with a total amount of nearly 7 billion VND.

Preparations to welcome workers back to work at the factory are also being implemented, ready for the first working day after the long Tet holiday.

Ms. Dao Thi Thinh, a worker at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, and her family are also preparing to return to work at the company after the Tet holiday. This year, thanks to the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor through the "Trade Union Flight" program, Ms. Thinh returned to her hometown for Tet after 27 years away from home.

Many companies simultaneously return to work on the 7th day of Tet

Other companies with a large number of workers in Dong Nai also started to return to work on February 23 (the 7th day of Tet), such as: Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, An Vien commune, Dong Nai province), about 17,000 workers; Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa ward, Dong Nai province), specializing in shoe production with about 14,000 workers.

Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd. (Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park, Dong Nai province) has more than 8,000 employees, the Company's Board of Directors also decided to reward 100,000 VND/person for all employees going to work on the first working day of the year, February 23 (the 7th day of Tet).

Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province) has more than 40,000 workers returning to work on February 23 (the 7th day of Tet).

According to Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan - Deputy Director of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company, company employees returned to work on February 24 (the 8th day of Tet). In 2026, the company is preparing to expand one more factory with about 800 - 1,000 workers and will go into operation in March 2026 after the Tet holiday of employees.

In the first quarter of 2026, businesses in Dong Nai province need to recruit about 35,000 workers. Of which, the demand for general labor accounts for more than 80%, and the rest is technical labor, labor with professional qualifications from intermediate to university level.

Dong Nai province currently has about 680,000 workers working in industrial parks, of which 42% are migrant workers.
