On May 15, 2026, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as Head of the delegation, together with the working delegation of the National Defense Trade Union, visited and presented gifts to union members and workers of units stationed in Thai Nguyen province on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
The delegation worked and presented gifts at 3 units including: X20 Thai Nguyen One Member Limited Liability Company under the General Department of Logistics and Technology; Z115 Factory under the General Department of National Defense Industry; Viettel Thai Nguyen under the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented a total of 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND.
Accordingly, Thai Nguyen Company Limited MTV X20 was awarded 40 gifts; Factory Z115 received 30 gifts; Viettel Thai Nguyen Construction Branch received 30 gifts.
In addition, the Head of the National Defense Trade Union also presented 60 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a support level of 500,000 VND/gift.

Speaking at the working session with units, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that Workers' Month is a special occasion for trade union organizations to care for and encourage workers, and at the same time promote the concern of Party committees, authorities and businesses for the working class.
This year is the first Workers' Month after the success of the 14th National Party Congress with many new policies and strategic orientations of the country; at the same time, it is also the Workers' Month to welcome and look forward to the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the 11th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress," Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu said.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has assigned working groups to directly visit many localities and businesses to visit and encourage workers.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu acknowledged and praised the efforts of the enterprise in the context of many factors affecting production and business activities. However, companies and units still maintain stable orders, ensuring jobs and income for workers.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also expressed his excitement when directly witnessing the spirit and appearance of workers at enterprises.
According to Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, in the context of the country moving towards the goal of strategic autonomy, building a modern defense industry, the workforce needs to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and improve labor productivity and industrial style.
He proposed that workers constantly learn, innovate, and apply science and technology in production; and at the same time boldly propose initiatives, recommendations, and reflect their thoughts and aspirations through dialogue at workplaces and trade union organizations.
Workers need to be listened to and benefit from the fruits of their initiatives and technical improvements. When doing well, workers must have better income and better lives," Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
In addition, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also requested businesses to continue to pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers; promptly commend and reward individuals with initiatives and positive contributions to create motivation for labor and production emulation.
