Workers take advantage of taking their children to the opening ceremony before the shift

Taking advantage of a few minutes before the shift, many workers in Thang Long Industrial Park (Hanoi) still try to take their children to school to attend the opening ceremony.

For them, the presence of parents on the first day of school year is a meaningful spiritual gift for their children.

On the opening day of the new school year, the schoolyard became more bustling when many parents who are workers took advantage of the time before class to take their children to school.

From early morning, Ms. Hong Chien - a worker at Thang Long Industrial Park - prepared for her two children and then went to school with her children to attend the opening ceremony. Her family is renting a room near the school, so picking up and dropping off the children is more convenient.

Not having much time to stay, after a few minutes of accompanying her child on a special day, Ms. Chien will return to the industrial park to start work.

I wish my child to study well. I hope my mother's presence at today's opening ceremony will help my child have more motivation to study. If my child tries to study, my mother will also try to work," Ms. Chien shared.

For workers like Ms. Chien, work in the industrial park is often associated with shift work time. Therefore, the moments of directly taking their children to school, witnessing their children entering the new school year become even more precious.

Also at Kim Chung Elementary School, Ms. Vu Thi Hong - a worker in Thang Long Industrial Park - took advantage of the time before her shift to bring her 3rd grade child to attend the opening ceremony.

Ms. Hong said that her shift starts from 8 am and lasts until 8 pm. Despite being busy with work, every year she tries to take her children to school on the opening day to encourage them.

My children are the motivation for me to work. If my children study well, I will have even more motivation to work hard," Ms. Hong shared.

Not only worker mothers, many fathers also try to arrange work to be present with their children on the first day of school.

Having a son entering 1st grade this year, Mr. Trinh Van Cuong, from Thai Nguyen, waited every minute for his son to enter the new school year opening ceremony. Both husband and wife are workers, currently renting a room near their workplace.

At 8 am, Mr. Cuong will start his shift. The time before that is fully devoted to his child on the first day of entering a new learning journey.

Standing in the middle of the schoolyard, the father's eyes constantly followed his son. For him, even though he could only accompany his son for a short time before starting his shift, his presence on this special day was still necessary.

Mr. Cuong hopes that the care and encouragement of his parents will help his son become more confident when entering grade 1, having more joy and motivation in the early days of going to school.

For many worker families, life is still full of busyness, the time spent with children sometimes has to be taken advantage of every hour, every minute. But on the opening day, fathers and mothers still try to be present.

Because for them, behind each shift, each overtime hour and the hard days at the industrial park is the desire for their children to be fully educated, grow up and have a better future.
