The spirit of youth not afraid of difficulties

He is Le Tan Dat, a worker of the Power Line and Substation Operation Management Team, Chau Thanh Power Company, Dong Thap Power Company. Newly entering the industry in 2020, but Mr. Dat has become a bright example for many people to follow.

He takes on many tasks such as checking, handling and overcoming medium-low voltage grid incidents, measuring load, clearing, ensuring safe and continuous operation for the power system in the area. In particular, Mr. Dat has proficiently applied software to simulate and calculate power grid operating parameters to accurately track fault points on the grid, helping to shorten processing time. Mr. Dat is always active, not afraid of difficulties, not afraid of hardships, always present to handle urgent incidents when mobilized.

As a member of the Dong Thap Power Company Shock Team, Mr. Dat left his mark when participating in the construction of the 500kV circuit 3 Quang Trach - Quang Binh to Pho Noi - Hung Yen power line, one of the key national power transmission projects. The project has a large construction volume, harsh weather conditions, high technical requirements and urgent progress pressure.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Phuong Thanh - Head of the Shock Team - said that bringing the 500kV circuit 3 power line project to the finish line on schedule is not easy at all. Despite having to work in harsh weather conditions, from harsh heat to dangerous terrain, the members of the team and especially Mr. Dat are always proactive, not afraid of difficulties, not afraid of hardships.

Responsibility to the community

What is commendable about Le Tan Dat is that he is not only good at his profession, he is also responsible to the community. He actively participates in humanitarian blood donation, coordinates with local mass organizations to propagate safe - economical - efficient electricity use, and propagate the protection of electrical works to students, people, and organizations in society.

Over the years, Mr. Dat and the Youth Union have participated in free electrical repair activities for poor and near-poor households, rural road lighting projects, and other projects, contributing to protecting electrical safety for the community.

With the responsibility of an electrical worker, Mr. Dat persistently goes to each house, supporting the elderly and people facing difficulties when installing and using customer care applications for the electricity industry such as: App CSKH, Zalo EVNSPC... These silent actions are of practical significance in the digital transformation journey, narrowing the digital gap between population groups. Not only stopping at technical support, Mr. Dat is also a bridge in propaganda sessions on safe electricity use; coordinating with the Women's Union of Chau Thanh district to implement many programs to connect the electricity industry with people's lives, spreading the beautiful image of dedicated and approachable electricians.

Mr. Le Tan Dat continuously achieved emulation titles and forms of commendation at all levels such as Advanced Labor for many consecutive years; Excellent Individual Award for comprehensively completing tasks in 2024 of Southern Power Corporation, the prize is a motorbike worth 35 million VND...

In 2025, being honored as a typical electricity industry worker, Mr. Le Tan Dat shared: Proud to continue the tradition of the industry, we are always ready to ensure safe and continuous electricity flow - not just work, but the trust people place.
