According to the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD), in the past time, the CĐGD directed unit trade unions to well perform the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female union members, cadres, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLĐ).
Accordingly, trade unions at all levels under the CĐGD organize many activities to care for and support female CBNGNLĐ, establish and consolidate mass women's unions; organize activities to care for children of CBNGNLĐ, and commend typical CBNGNLĐ families.
The Education Union coordinated with the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labour) to organize seminars and surveys on mobilizing female workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" among female CNVCLĐ for delegates who are presidents/vice presidents and heads of women's trade union committees of some units directly under the Education Union.
The TU directed units to organize conferences to summarize 15 years of implementing Resolution No. 6b/NQ-BCH of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on mobilizing female workers and employees in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country and Directive No. 03/CT-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on continuing to promote the emulation movement "Good at work, good at housework" among female officials, civil servants and employees (period 2010-2025). The TU awarded emulation flags to 3 collectives, and certificates of merit to 13 collectives and 43 individuals with outstanding achievements in directing, organizing and implementing the emulation movement "Good at work, good at housework" in the period 2021-2025...
Implementing the direction of the Education Union, 100% of trade unions in units have deployed women's work in 2026; organized conferences or reports summarizing 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b; propagated to officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers about the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day, the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and the International Day of Happiness... Units organized many practical and appropriate activities with gender-specific colors, mobilizing the participation of many trade union members such as: Reproductive health, reducing gender balance at birth, preventing and combating domestic violence, protecting, caring for and educating children...; organized training classes to improve knowledge and presentation skills, disseminate new regulations, regimes, and policies on women for female officials.
Trade unions of units have established mass women's unions after trade union congresses at all levels. Currently, 128/141 trade unions of Hanoi National University, regional universities, and grassroots trade unions have established mass women's unions, with a total of 780 female trade union officials (there are 8 units that have fewer than 10 female union members, so they are not eligible to establish mass women's unions).
