A representative of the Gia Lai Economic Zone Management Board said that on October 13, Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited came to clean up and repair the warehouse to prepare for production.
"I went directly to the warehouse to verify that the company was actually preparing facilities. Through the discussion, the business owner mentioned the plan to return to production and pay salaries and benefits to employees," the representative informed.

According to the representative of the Gia Lai Economic Zone Management Board, because the enterprise did not sign a labor contract and did not establish a salary debt list, the lawsuit to reclaim the rights of workers encountered many difficulties, despite the guidance and support of the Provincial Trade Union organization.
The fact that enterprises do not sign labor contracts, owe wages and benefits to employees is a serious violation of the Labor Code. However, after the specialized inspection agencies were dissolved, the inspection and handling of violating enterprises almost "flooded into a dead end" when no agency had taken on the responsibility.
"Almost no enterprise in the province has not signed a labor contract but has been handled, at most only being reminded by the interdisciplinary inspection team. The Board will check all violating enterprises and then propose the Department of Home Affairs to handle them, because the longer it is allowed, the more disadvantaged the workers will be.
When Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited returns to production, the Board will coordinate with the Provincial Labor Federation to request the enterprise to sign a contract to ensure the rights of employees," said a representative of the Gia Lai Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
Ms. N.T.N.A (born in 1991, residing in An Nhon Nam ward) - a worker at Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited - confirmed that Mr. Nguyen Van An - Director of the company - called and suggested inviting her to return to work at the company after many months of inactivity.
"The director said to reopen the factory, so he asked me to come back to work, support the company to overcome the difficult period and promised that from now until Tet, he would pay all the salaries to the workers," Ms. A recounted.
"If the company pays all my salary, I am willing to return to support the company. Many other workers also want to return to help the company, but everyone has a family, everyone needs money to live," Ms. A expressed.
As Lao Dong has reported, more than 100 workers of Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited, along with a number of households who received product contracts, and partner businesses are in trouble because the company owes wages, social insurance, and processing fees for orders, and suddenly stop production from July 31.
Initial statistics show that this company owes 130 employees wages, with an amount of more than 2.3 billion VND; owes households more than 2.5 billion VND for processing and more than 2.3 billion VND to Tan Dat General Trading and Service Company Limited. The total debt is more than 7.1 billion VND.
Phuc Thinh Binh Dinh Company Limited has deducted the employee's insurance payment but did not pay it to the Social Insurance agency, causing the employee to quit his job and not receive unemployment insurance; the health insurance card is locked, and the medical examination and treatment costs are not paid. The company also did not pay the Union fund, did not sign labor contracts with more than 100 workers and has not paid salaries since April 2025.
