Recorded at Tien Tien Industrial Cluster (Thinh Minh commune), production activities took place bustlingly from early morning. Internal transportation, electricity, water and technical infrastructure items were invested relatively synchronously, creating favorable conditions for businesses to maintain stable production. Many factories are operating at full capacity to meet signed orders.
Working at a production enterprise in Tien Tien Industrial Cluster for more than 2 years, Ms. Bui Thi Lan (Thinh Minh commune) said that before, she mainly worked in agriculture and seasonal labor with unstable income. Since being recruited to work at a business in the industrial cluster, her family's life has gradually stabilized. "My average income is currently about 8 million VND per month. Working near home saves travel costs, has time to take care of family and children" - Ms. Lan shared.
Not only creating jobs for female workers, businesses in the industrial cluster also attract many skilled young workers. Mr. Bui Van Nam, a mechanical worker working at a business in Tien Tien Industrial Cluster, said that the working environment is increasingly improved, helping workers feel secure and stick with them for a long time.
According to the Phu Tho Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, up to now, the whole province has established 66 industrial clusters. Among them, 13 industrial clusters have basically completed technical infrastructure, have wastewater treatment systems and attract secondary businesses to operate stably. Industrial clusters in the province currently attract about 930 secondary projects, creating jobs for over 37,000 workers with an average income of about 7 million VND/person/month.
Reality shows that industrial clusters not only create production space for small and medium-sized enterprises but also contribute to shifting the labor structure in rural areas from agricultural production to industry and services. Many local workers have the opportunity to access stable jobs, improve their skills and improve their income.
However, the development process of ICs still faces many difficulties. Some infrastructure projects are slow to implement due to problems in site clearance, land procedures, investment capital sources and connecting infrastructure outside fences.
Currently, the occupancy rate of industrial land in new industrial clusters has just reached over 53%, showing that the investment attraction potential is still very large.
To remove bottlenecks, Phu Tho is accelerating infrastructure investment, completing legal procedures and strengthening coordination to solve difficulties for investors. Many new infrastructure projects have been started, improving the capacity to attract secondary businesses.
