Promoting labor safety propaganda
According to the plan of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, Workers' Month 2026 is organized in parallel with the Action Month on occupational safety and health, with the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age".
Propaganda, training and guidance activities on labor safety skills will be widely deployed at enterprises, especially in high-risk industries such as construction, mechanics, and industrial production.
The content of propaganda focuses on raising awareness of workers and employers about legal regulations related to occupational safety and hygiene, and at the same time guiding skills to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.
Trade union levels will coordinate with businesses to organize inspections and reviews of working conditions, from machinery and equipment systems to production processes to promptly detect and overcome unsafe risks.
In addition, equipping labor protection equipment, improving the working environment, ensuring ventilation, reducing noise and dust are also emphasized.
The movement to build a labor safety culture at the workplace has been widely launched, encouraging each worker to raise their awareness of protecting themselves and colleagues during the working process.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that linking Workers' Month with the Action Month on Occupational Safety aims to create a spillover effect, helping to raise awareness and responsibility of both workers and employers in ensuring production safety.
According to Ms. Linh, in addition to propaganda work, inspection and supervision activities will also be strengthened to promptly rectify violations, contributing to reducing labor accidents.
Deploying many synchronous activities at the grassroots level
Within the framework of Workers' Month, many large-scale activities will be organized synchronously at all levels of trade unions.
The launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health is expected to be held at the end of April 2026, with the participation of representatives of departments, branches, businesses and a large number of workers.
At the program, many activities will be implemented such as giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, job counseling, job introduction, launching emulation movements and initiatives in labor production.
Free health check-up programs and health consultations for workers, especially those working in heavy and hazardous environments, are also organized.
In addition, activities such as "Workers' Market", 0-dong booths, and preferential sales programs continue to be implemented to support workers to reduce living costs.
Cultural and sports activities such as workers' sports festivals and art programs in industrial parks are also organized to improve spiritual life and create cohesion in the labor force.
In addition, trade union levels also promoted the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and introducing outstanding union members for consideration and admission to the Party.
At enterprises, the organization of thematic meetings on labor safety and emergency handling drills is also being implemented to improve practical skills for workers.
The synchronous implementation of activities in Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026 is expected to contribute to raising awareness, improving the working environment and reducing labor accidents in the city.
