On the morning of September 28, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City coordinated with the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District to organize the "Job Fair for demobilized soldiers and workers in Lien Chieu District in 2024".
At the Job Fair, 36 businesses participated in recruitment. The total number of job positions needed by businesses at the transaction session was 3,691 workers.
The 2024 job fair for demobilized soldiers and workers in Lien Chieu district aims to create favorable conditions and environment for workers, especially demobilized soldiers, to access information on labor and employment, helping workers and demobilized soldiers gain skills to find suitable jobs in the future.
Create opportunities for workers in the city to access recruitment information from agencies and businesses (employers) to find jobs.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City said: "From the beginning of 2024 until now, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has organized a total of 4 job fair sessions. Of which, 2 sessions were held at 2 universities and 2 sessions in 2 districts to introduce to demobilized soldiers and workers in the city. In addition, there are weekly job fair sessions connecting 3 locations."
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, since the beginning of the year, there have been more than 50 job fairs, helping workers access more than 6,000 job positions.
The 2024 job fair for demobilized soldiers and workers in Lien Chieu district not only promotes propaganda and job introduction but also raises awareness about labor and employment for demobilized soldiers and workers.
This is a practical work to stabilize the lives of people in the city, contributing to the stability and development of the socio-economy.
