As part of a series of activities in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2024, on the evening of May 10, the Da Nang City Labor Federation coordinated with the Cam Le District Labor Federation to organize propaganda on security issues for workers in the new situation and mobilize the development of union members in 2024 for union members and workers at self-managed workers' groups in the boarding house area in Hoa Tho Tay ward.
At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Xuan Duong, Deputy Head of the Internal Political Security Department, Da Nang City Police, conveyed the contents on security issues for workers in the new situation.
Information on some outstanding points about the situation of security and order, traffic safety, crimes and law violations, fraud and appropriation of property in cyberspace, black credit activities and social evils related to workers and laborers that have occurred in the past; analyze the domestic and international situation affecting current labor relations and workers' security.
Thereby, helping union members and workers raise awareness and understanding of the law, promote vigilance, detect and fight against all types of crimes, contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety in the temporary residence area.
On this occasion, Cam Le District Labor Federation presented 72 gifts, each worth 300 thousand VND, to workers in difficult circumstances temporarily residing at the self-managed workers' groups in the boarding house in Hoa Tho Tay ward.
