On January 19, Task Force No. 5 (Group 5) of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the entire trade union at commune, ward, and special zone levels in the area in charge (12 units) has organized trade union congresses according to regulations.
There are currently 575 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with 62,898 union members in the area, an additional 14 newly established CDCS units have been added since July 1. In the past time, Team 5 has organized 3 meetings to grasp the operating situation of commune-level trade unions, wards, special zones; grassroots trade unions in the area, especially in industrial parks, units with over 1,000 workers...
To date, 498 grassroots trade unions that are eligible to organize congresses/conferences have submitted dossiers requesting recognition of the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of grassroots trade unions, reaching a rate of 95.7%.
Task Force No. 5 for local management has also deployed, guided, and coordinated to support units in carrying out procedures and processes for issuing and exchanging seals. Up to now, 12/12 Trade Unions of communes, wards, and special zones have made seals; 500 grassroots trade unions have registered to make seals according to regulations.
