On November 5, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the grassroots trade union of Quang Ngai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited has just successfully organized the 10th Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The Trade Union of Quang Ngai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited currently has 10 affiliated department unions, with 278 union members.
During the 2023 - 2025 term, the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union coordinated to organize many activities to care for and give gifts to union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year; promptly visited the families of union members who were sick and in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 200 million VND.
In addition, the Trade Union also honored and rewarded excellent students and new students who are children of union members and workers in the Company with a total amount of more than 140 million VND; organized a seminar on International Women's Day (8.3), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20); organized the First Men's and Women's Football Tournament to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024); contributed nearly 20 million VND to the housing program "Union Shelter" launched by the Provincial Labor Federation...
During the term, the Company's Trade Union introduced 21 Party members to the Party Committee for consideration and admission. With the achievements, in 2023 and 2024, the Company's Trade Union was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 10th Trade Union, consisting of 9 people. The first Executive Committee Conference elected a Standing Committee of 3 people, an Inspection Committee of 3 people and elected the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Trade Union Inspection Committee. Mr. Le Thanh Hung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots trade union (re-elected) for the 2025 - 2030 term.
