On September 18, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor issued a plan to organize the Congress of Commune, Ward, and Grassroots Trade Unions, towards the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Trade Union Congresses at all levels are identified as an important political activity, with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
The Congress is responsible for summarizing and evaluating the results of implementing the resolutions of the past term; setting out directions and tasks for the new term; and electing the new term Trade Union Executive Committee.
According to the plan, the 2025-2030 term Trade Union Congress of communes and wards will be held after the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the same level and completed before October 31, 2025. The Congress of grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, member grassroots trade unions, and departmental trade unions must be completed before November 15, 2025.
At the congress, lower-level trade unions will participate in giving comments on the draft documents of the Upper-level Trade Union Congress; synthesizing recommendations from union members and workers on issues related to legitimate and legal rights and interests. At the same time, they participated in giving opinions on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
