This is a socio-political event of special significance for cadres, union members and workers in the whole province, marking a new development stage of the Trade Union organization in the period of innovation and integration.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", promoting the spirit of responsibility, intelligence and solidarity of cadres, union members and workers; creating a solid foundation to build the Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union organization to be increasingly strong, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The Congress summarizes and comprehensively evaluates the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Trade Union Congress in the past term; at the same time, discuss and determine the direction, goals, tasks and key solutions for the new term, aiming to improve the effectiveness of representation, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; continue to innovate the organization and methods of operation of the Trade Union organization in the new situation, promote the application of digital transformation, improve quality and efficiency of operations, and meet development requirements in the current period.
The Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union is actively preparing the necessary conditions to organize the Congress, ensuring solemnity and compliance with regulations, promoting the democratic spirit, intelligence and solidarity of union members and workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
On July 1, 2025, Ca Mau province (merging Bac Lieu province and Ca Mau province) came into operation. The Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) was established on the basis of merging the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor and the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor. With new resources and development conditions, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor has 11 commune and ward unions, 9 affiliated grassroots unions, 421 grassroots unions, and unions, with 46,429 union members.
