In particular, there were 345 official delegates representing the intelligence and great national unity bloc of Ca Mau province attending the Congress.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province - said that this is a major political event of the province, the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province after implementing the policy of arranging administrative units, merging Bac Lieu province and Ca Mau province, officially operating according to the model of a two-level local government.
The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development" and the determination to "Promoting the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; implementing democracy, promoting the strength of great national unity; innovating the content and methods of operation; joining hands and unanimously building Ca Mau province to firmly join the whole country in entering a new era".
Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet emphasized: This Congress has the task of evaluating the results of implementing the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province in the past term; deciding on the Action Program for the 2025 - 2030 term; democratic cooperation sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province for the new term, the delegation attending the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, are typical delegates for the great national unity bloc, meeting the requirements of innovation of the Front work in the new period, contributing to bringing the Resolution of the Congress into social life, worthy of being the common home of the great national unity bloc.
Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet also highlighted that in the past term, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the guidance and direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the attention and facilitation of the government, the coordination and unification of actions between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front apparatus, socio-political organizations, mass organizations have been consolidated and perfected; the great national unity bloc in the province has been constantly expanded; the work of the Front continues to achieve many important results, patriotic emulation movements and campaigns have been actively responded by all classes of people, contributing to the development of the economy, culture, society, national defense - security in the locality; the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved, the appearance of the rural area is increasingly urban and civilized, and urban development has been gradually developed.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress Presidium hopes that the delegates will promote their intelligence, sense of responsibility, contribute many enthusiastic opinions, propose solutions to innovate the content and methods of operation; clearly identify key goals and tasks, contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc, building and firmly defending the Fatherland, making Ca Mau develop quickly, sustainably and modernly in the coming time.
