On December 19, Ca Mau province held the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the province, term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress was attended by Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Ms. Tran Thi Hoa Ry - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, former member of the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Pham Van Thieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province; Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province and 270 official delegates, representing the youth of Ca Mau province.
The Congress discussed democratically, highly unified and approved 13 key targets, as a basis for orientation for the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of Ca Mau province in the new term, demonstrating the determination to unite, innovate, be creative, and promote the pioneering role of young people in building and developing the homeland.
At the Congress, the Central Youth Union announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union, term I, consisting of 39 people; the Standing Committee of 13 people, and the Inspection Committee of 9 people. Mr. Pham Tuan Tai was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030. The Deputy Secretaries include: Tran Dang Khoa, Nguyen Trang Anh Thu, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duy.
