The congress was attended by Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ninh province and 200 delegates who are typical examples in the emulation movement of employees and trade union activities.
In the period of 2020 - 2025, Quang Ninh province has more than 30,000 initiatives and solutions registered and implemented. Typically, 10 union members of Dat Viet Brick and Tile Joint Stock Company were awarded the Ho Chi Minh Award in the field of Science - Technology; 71 individuals were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...
Trade unions at all levels in the province have registered to undertake more than 1,500 projects, with a workload of over VND 3,500 billion. In particular, the movement "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" recorded 15,031 initiatives, reaching 124% of the plan, benefiting more than 159 billion VND.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - emphasized: The period of 2020 - 2025 is a time to test the courage and will of workers in Quang Ninh province against the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, storm Yagi... In that context, the patriotic emulation movement has promoted its leading role, creating motivation for workers to enthusiastically register thousands of initiatives and projects, contributing significantly to the overall development of the province.
The emulation movement in the coming time needs to be associated with the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
At the congress, 130 outstanding collectives and individuals were honored and received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister; Medals "For the cause of building trade union organizations"; Certificates of Creative Labor; Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Labor Confederations.
The Congress also approved the list of delegates attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for Workers.
