On June 23, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have implemented many solutions to develop union members and build trade union organizations.
The unit has conducted surveys, propaganda, mobilized the admission of union members and established grassroots unions at units and enterprises.
As a result, the whole province admitted 1,647 new union members, an increase of 320/10,000 union members, reaching 3.2% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In addition, 15 grassroots trade unions have been established in non-state enterprises. Of which, 6 units have 25 or more workers.
According to the leader of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions still faces many difficulties, the achievement rate is low compared to the assigned target.
The main reason is that most of the businesses in the area are small and micro enterprises, and production and business activities still face many difficulties.
In addition, some superior union officials have not been proactive and have limited the application of information technology in their activities.
In the remaining months of the year, trade unions at all levels will continue to focus on caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers; at the same time, effectively implementing welfare programs and practical support for workers in difficult circumstances.
