352 union members and workers working in enterprises and units in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the 3rd city-level "Good network management" skills contest with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era" in 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City College of Information Technology, which opened on the morning of June 22.
The contest is divided into two groups. Group A is an individual competition, with the participation of 274 contestants, competing in knowledge and skills related to policies, breakthrough guidelines, development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, basic knowledge and skills of network governance, using AI technology to monitor performance and coordinate network resources.
Group B is a team competition, with 78 contestants divided into 26 teams (each team has 3 people) competing on a computer for a maximum time of 240 minutes with knowledge and skills related to network governance, using the creation of AI tools to detect and respond to network incidents.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Mr. Phung Thai Quang - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo affirmed that digital transformation, innovation and development of science and technology are key driving forces, a strategic breakthrough in the process of modernization of the country.
The action program of the Vietnam Trade Union for the 2023 - 2028 term has identified digital transformation in trade union activities as a key content. The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has concretized this task through practical activities, including the "Good network management" skills contest.
Through three times of organization, the contest not only affirms creativity and access to new knowledge, but also contributes to the discovery, nurturing and spreading high-quality human resources to serve the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Through the contest, the aim is to improve the professional qualifications, skills, and expertise of union members and workers, promote the application of digital transformation of AI in labor, operational skills, thinking, and improve production efficiency.
